A carefully constructed performance modpack for Forge modloader.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 49 graded mods, 35 are graded A or B, 14 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 2 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
OptiForge+Fabric is a performance-focused modpack intended to improve Minecraft performance while serving as a template for building your own modpack, with no content mods and minimal quality-of-life additions. It combines performance mods including Embeddium, Radium, FerriteCore, and Acedium, with Acedium providing optimization for Nvidia GPUs while the pack is also intended to work with other GPUs. The pack adds OptiFine-like features through connected textures with Continuity, shaders with Oculus, and entity texture and model features with ETF, EMF, and ESF. Synitra Connector provides support for both Forge and Fabric mods. The project showcases high render distances, including a 49-chunk render-distance example.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 8 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Nov 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked all 50 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 50 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 41 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
9 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
