    About

    Chunky is a Minecraft chunk pre-generator that lets server operators prepare world areas in advance, helping avoid the lag of generating chunks as players explore and creating ready-made areas for map rendering. You can run generation tasks for one or several worlds, monitor processed chunks, completion percentage, estimated time, and processing rate, then pause tasks and resume them later or cancel them. Selections can be centered on chosen coordinates, world spawn, or the existing world border, or defined by corner coordinates; supported shapes include squares, circles, triangles, diamonds, pentagons, hexagons, stars, and rectangles. Generation patterns control the order chunks are processed, with options including region-based, concentric, loop, spiral, custom CSV ordering, and loading only chunks that already exist. Chunky can also trim chunks outside the selected area, while its optional ChunkyBorder addon supports custom borders matching the generated shapes.
