A smoother game with shaders, minimaps, and better graphics options.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 29 graded mods, 29 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 6 months ago, for Minecraft 26.1.2. See the mods
Optimized + QoL Improvements is a compilation of mods intended to improve Minecraft performance, including frame rates, latency, launch time, and memory use, while retaining extensive graphics customization. Its performance-focused core includes Sodium for rendering, Lithium for game logic, and optimizations such as ImmediatelyFast, FerriteCore, and entity and block culling. For visual options, Iris supports shader packs, while Sodium Extra adds configurable controls for animations, particles, sky and weather details, fog, and other rendering effects. Distant Horizons extends the view with level-of-detail terrain rendering, and Continuity provides connected textures. Quality-of-life tools include JourneyMap for real-time in-game or browser-based mapping, Inventory Profiles Next for sorting and moving items, and Jade for information about the block or entity being viewed. Zoomify offers configurable zoom behavior, while Sound Controller provides individual volume controls and Better F3 replaces the standard debug display with a customizable, more readable HUD. The pack also includes Debugify for Minecraft bug fixes and configuration tools that make it easier to adjust graphics and mod settings.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · Fabric, 3 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 29 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 29 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 29 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
