Parasites: Reloaded is a hardcore survival modpack set in a post-nuclear wasteland overrun by parasitic creatures, where the goal is to survive their onslaught and stop them from consuming what remains of humanity. With resources scarce, you scavenge for supplies, manage hunger and thirst, and venture through toxic wastelands and radiation zones while crafting and fortifying shelters against the threat. Exploration helps uncover resources and crafting recipes, and the pack includes Biomes O' Plenty, Dynamic Trees, Familiar Fauna, Mo' Villages, and RecurrentComplex to shape its landscapes and places to discover. The parasite-focused content includes Scape and Run: Parasites alongside its Combat, Nests, and Survival addons, as well as The Hordes and HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod Reloaded. Spartan Weaponry and Spartan Shields add combat equipment, while Antique Atlas supports navigation and Simple Voice Chat enables communication with other survivors.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 4 Jul 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 28 Feb 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 16 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 13 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 13 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
