A simple pack with all the mods you need to enjoy Prehistoric Nature.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 32 graded mods, 10 are graded A or B, 4 C and 18 D to F. Its last update came out 10 months ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Purely Prehistoric Nature is a lightweight modpack built around Prehistoric Nature and its dimensions, with only TreeChopper and a few basic support mods added. Plants that still exist today are configured to spawn in the Overworld, and an optional texture pack is included. With an axe, TreeChopper fells an entire tree, taking longer for larger trees; sneaking limits chopping to the log block you hit. Prehistoric Nature’s custom fog and skies provide an alternative to shaders, and plant propagation can be disabled to use vanilla-style plant and sapling drops instead of seeds and spores.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 31 Dec 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 2 Apr 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 33 of its 35 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 33 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 28 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
5 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
