Light-weight non-expert tech progression pack.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 81 graded mods, 50 are graded A or B, 10 C and 21 D to F. Its last update came out 6.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.15.2. See the mods
Q-tech is a lightweight, non-expert technology progression modpack that guides players through a connected series of tech mods without making its recipe changes unusually difficult. Progression includes newer tech mods such as Powah and Silent’s Mechanisms, and custom advancements help guide players through the pack. The pack has a defined end goal: completing it calls for progressing through its mods and automating, while aiming to take less time than many progression packs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.15.2 · Forge, 4 Oct 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 3 Aug 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 83 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 56 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
27 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
