An attempt at recreating Race to the Moon in a modern version of minecraft.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 36 graded mods, 22 are graded A or B, 9 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 3.4 years ago, for Minecraft 1.18.2. See the mods
Race to the Moon Revived recreates the Race to the Moon experience in a newer Minecraft setting, with players competing to reach the Moon and travel beyond it. Space-Bosstools provides the space content in place of Galacticraft, while Mekanism, its Generators and Tools, Thermal Expansion, and Tinkers’ Construct add technology and crafting systems. The pack includes storage and automation options such as Storage Drawers, Iron Chests, and Additional Enchanted Miner, alongside Biomes O’ Plenty for world variety. Blue Power and BlockCarpentry serve as alternatives to Project Red and Forge Microblocks, respectively, and Mystcraft is only partially represented through Linking Books. Other additions include furniture, transporters, backpacks, hats, and decorative or collectible features such as cakes and mob heads. The gallery also highlights Bookball and a nostalgic airship build.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.18.2 · Forge, 14 May 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 37 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 37 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 30 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
7 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
