About
Backpacked adds a craftable backpack to a vanilla-friendly survival progression, with new backpacks earned by completing goals inspired by Minecraft advancements. Challenges can track partial progress and persist within a save or server; examples include cutting oak logs or killing zombies while holding a potato. Spend experience to unlock additional backpack slots and augment bays, with costs increasing as more are unlocked and configurable through the mod’s settings. The mod also features an augment system, backpack customisation, and pickpocketing. Creators can extend Backpacked with add-ons that introduce backpack cosmetics and unlock challenges, using resource and data packs or integrating assets and data into a mod. Available community add-ons include Shells, which adds Snail Shell and Nautilus Shell backpacks, World of Color, which adds dye variants of the Standard Backpack, and Furniture Mod: Refurbished, which adds a Storage Cabinet backpack when installed alongside Backpacked.
