Refuge is an apocalypse-themed quest modpack built around surviving a ruined world and following a quest book to stop the catastrophe. The story casts the player as a survivor after others escaped by helicopter, in a wrecked town threatened by explosive falling meteors and vicious zombies. Its Hardcore Questing Mode progression guides players through survival and modded systems, including Magical Crops and crop-seed quests, with reported chapters such as “Seeds FTW!” and “Creeping Kitchen.” The pack combines hostile-world additions such as Falling Meteors, Deadly World, Mo' Zombies! and Special Mobs with exploration and building content from Biomes O' Plenty, Carpenter's Blocks, Chisel 2 and Ztones. For crafting and progression, it includes Tinkers' Construct and its related tweaks, alongside automation and storage options such as Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Thermal Dynamics, Iron Chests and JABBA. Agriculture and food are also part of the toolkit, with Agricraft, Magical Crops, Pam's HarvestCraft and The Spice of Life among the included mods.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 14 Apr 2019). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 22 Jul 2015 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 49 of its 50 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 49 of its 50 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 21 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
29 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
