RLCraft Dregora is a challenging adventure modpack that builds on RLCraft with Dregora’s custom world generation, an expanded game loop, and a storyline woven through its lore. Its world features more than 300 distinctive biomes and more than 300 new or updated structures, including persistent, map-drawn regions with distinctive scenery and points of interest. Exploration can lead to abandoned shelters, cities, underground civilizations, castles, dungeons, and progression-focused locations such as Gem Trader sites and end-game Brutal Towers. Loot chests may be cursed or blessed, and some contain maps that guide players toward locations in the persistent regions. The pack adds exclusive bosses, mobs and mob variants, random entity encounters, new items and weapons, altered AI, custom loot, and more than 100 lore-focused books. Progression involves RPG skills and perks unlocked with experience, with some items and abilities gated by skill levels; Brutal Tower bosses also drop coins used to summon Lycanites bosses. Survival changes include thirst and temperature management, removal of food-based healing, more realistic torches, and randomized starting spawns when no spawn point is set. The pack also includes more than 340 optional quests, new underground biomes and cave generation, a revamped Nether, and Biomes O’ Plenty blocks used to diversify redesigned biomes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 2 Dec 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 29 Oct 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 230 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 214 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 130 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
84 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
