A hardcore adventure modpack inspired by the original RLCraft.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 70 graded mods, 41 are graded A or B, 19 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 5.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.4. See the mods
RLCraft Future Versions is a hardcore, semi-realistic adventure modpack inspired by RLCraft, adapting much of its content to a newer version while using similar mods where direct counterparts were unavailable. Survival adds thirst, temperature, food-based healing and realistic torches, alongside randomized spawning that can be fixed by sleeping. Progression centers on skills and leveling, with some items locked until players advance; armor and tools can also have randomized qualities. The pack adds structures and dungeons, new weapons, tools, mobs, items, enchantments and potions, with examples including Spartan weapons and shields, Ice and Fire, Mowzie’s Mobs, and dungeon content from Dungeon Crawl and Dungeons Plus. Mob spawners drop loot and have a set lifespan, while Better Foliage and Dynamic Trees are among the RLCraft features or mods not included in this adaptation. Other additions and replacements include Waystones, Antique Atlas, Serene Seasons, Traverse Reforged, Survive, Project MMO, and YUNG’s Better Mineshafts and Better Caves.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.4 · Forge, 17 Jul 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 30 May 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 60 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
11 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
