Scavenge abandoned towns and fight zombies in a ruined world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 29 graded mods, 17 are graded A or B, 7 C and 5 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.19.4. See the mods
Survive The Night DayZ turns Minecraft into a post-apocalyptic survival experience inspired by DayZ, where players scavenge for supplies in abandoned towns and defend themselves against hordes of undead. Its sprawling abandoned cities contain loot and dangers, while a revamped landscape draws on Oh The Biomes You'll Go and TerraBlender for more varied, detailed scenery. Players can find clothing and armor including military-grade riot uniforms and night vision, and use weapons ranging from axes and frying pans to AKs, SCAR-Hs, and SPAS-12s. Underground bunkers offer shelter and basic survival necessities, and the undead roster spans more than 50 types, from familiar walkers to more nightmarish creatures. For multiplayer, a corpse system lets players betray and loot one another; city generation and naturally spawning mobs can also be configured.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.4 · Forge, 26 May 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked all 29 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 25 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 18 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
7 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
