A science fiction survival pack about building technology on a distant moon.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 66 graded mods, 8 are graded A or B, 10 C and 48 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Terra Firma Rescue is a science-fiction technology modpack built around TerraFirmaCraft, GregTech 6, and Advanced Rocketry, with a story-driven goal of surviving on the moon Terrafirma and ultimately building a warp engine to return to Earth. TerraFirmaCraft-style survival makes the environment central: you knap stone rather than harvest trees by hand, manage thirst and nutrition, and adapt farming and smelting to temperature, rainfall, sunlight, seasons, and the day-night cycle. As technology advances, you can automate production, build a computer, and explore the gas giant’s moons, including an icy world with a blue atmosphere and a barren rocky one, for resources such as methane and helium-3. The endgame escalates to fusion reactors, particle colliders, and draconic reactors before the final journey home, while quests also connect surplus factory goods to NPC trading through reward bags and Intergalactic Credit Points.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 12 Feb 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 11 Feb 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 70 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 70 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (12 Feb 2021) in the 18 mods we checked.
1 mod shows AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
52 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
