Survive a zombie-filled city and search for a cure to the virus.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 105 graded mods, 71 are graded A or B, 17 C and 17 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
TWD 2.5 is a zombie-apocalypse survival modpack about enduring a ruined city, building up your capabilities, and seeking a cure for the zombie virus. Its world uses The Lost Cities to create an urban wasteland populated by zombies and animals, with zombies as the only hostile overworld mobs; their variants and upgrades make them harder to fight, and some become hulking beasts that remain dangerous in daylight. Survival unfolds through escalating threats, including nighttime hordes and mutated zombies, while players improve their gear and weapons and can manufacture ammunition and use firearms such as those from Timeless and Classics Guns. More than 250 quests, custom recipes, and custom assets give players goals and tailored content beyond simply surviving the city. The pack also includes vehicles, grappling hooks, Create-based manufacturing, food and furniture additions, and features such as seasonal weather and blood moons. Travel between the Nether and Overworld uses YUNG's Better Portals rather than Nether portals, and returning from the Nether can be difficult.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 15 Mar 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 13 Mar 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 108 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of 105 of its 106 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (15 Mar 2022) in the 80 mods we checked.
5 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
26 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
