A challenge pack built around surviving the Wither Storm.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 39 graded mods, 33 are graded A or B, 6 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 2.4 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Wither Storm Enhanced is a challenge modpack built around Cracker’s Wither Storm, with performance improvements and visual enhancements intended to support the challenge without changing other vanilla content. It includes shader support, a few resource packs, and e4mc for free multiplayer, alongside optimization and a couple of additional mods. The creator’s suggested challenge format uses Hard difficulty: gear up during the first day, be inside the house at coordinates 0,0 by the first sunrise, summon the Wither Storm, and then flee.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · NeoForge, 2 Jun 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 40 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 35 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 35 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
