Smarter, tougher zombies make survival a fight for your life.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 65 graded mods, 28 are graded A or B, 15 C and 22 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
World of Zombies is a survival modpack that makes the undead a more dangerous central threat, encouraging players to plan how they fight and defend themselves. Zombies can move faster, detect players from farther away, investigate light and movement, follow sounds, smell blood after a player is hurt, and target pets and livestock; they can also swim, climb, and arrive in hordes. They are especially active at night, do not burn in sunlight, and can spawn in much larger numbers during blood moons. The pack offers a Lost Cities option with randomly generated abandoned cities, and a more wilderness-focused option with Biomes O’ Plenty, temples, and other ancient structures. Its world-generation choices include realistic terrain, Biomes O’ Plenty, Lost Cities, and a combination of Lost Cities with Biomes O’ Plenty, with more than 50 biomes available to explore. Players can craft or find almost 60 guns and more than 40 sets of armor and tools, alongside over 2,000 blocks and materials for protection and building. A resource pack makes zombies look distinct with glowing eyes, while the pack also changes their sounds and movement. The modpack can be played on servers, and its configuration files are described as customizable.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 1 Mar 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 65 of its 67 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 64 of its 66 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 37 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
29 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
