    About

    Chunk-Pregenerator is a server-side tool, also usable in single-player, for efficiently pre-generating world chunks so areas are generated before players reach them; optional client features are available, but clients do not need the mod for server use. It can generate multiple dimensions concurrently using multiple threads, and is designed to run in the background while people play, provided the server has enough resources. Generation tasks support radius and expansion shapes, world-border limits, and selectable modes such as terrain-only generation, post-generation, worlds without features, and retrogen; tasks can be queued, paused, stopped, resumed, or expanded later without repeating chunks already generated. The mod also provides retrogen for existing chunks and tools for deleting chunks by radius or expansion, trimming areas outside a radius, and removing chunks that have not been occupied by players for a chosen period. Progress displays report the active task, world, generation stage, speed, estimated time remaining, and memory use, while optional interfaces simplify task controls and offer world-management views of loaded chunks, entities, and tile entities. Additional server-management features include benchmarking, dimension loading and unloading, and dimension-specific seeds; the mod also monitors memory use and addresses known Minecraft memory leaks.
