Brixel is a resource pack that reimagines Minecraft as a world of tiny toy-like bricks while retaining the familiar character of the vanilla game. Blocks are rebuilt from layered, differently shaped 3D brick-pixels, giving their surfaces a detailed, mosaic-like depth while preserving each block’s recognizable purpose. The pack also adds rattling and clicking sounds for brick interactions and footsteps, along with custom models such as the Wabbabrick pickaxe. Its content includes brick-styled Trial Spawners, Crafters, Heavy Cores, paintings, bundles, music discs, and a broad range of copper blocks and fittings in exposed, weathered, and oxidized forms. Other additions include Pale Oak wood and foliage, pale moss, tuff and resin bricks, plus a Pale Oak boat. The pack also refines existing details such as fences, doors, trapdoors, iron bars, flowers, leaves, and several block and item textures. Brixel is offered in 64x, 128x, 256x, and 512x resolutions, and uses Parallax Occlusion Mapping to simulate complex geometry; it is designed for BSL Shaders v8.2 and above.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
Has no files in OptiFine's formats or for other mods.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
