About
Delight-map is a resource pack that makes Minecraft’s lighting slightly darker and more realistic, with its look designed around a brightness setting of roughly 30%. Torch and other block light is warmer and spreads less, while blue-tinted skylight spreads less too, making shaded areas appear more like they are in shadow. The End has cooler, less-spreading block light and gentler, sky-matched flashes; in the Nether, lighting is darker overall and block light shifts from yellow toward red. The pack works in vanilla and with Sodium, and includes adjustable settings for users who want to tailor its lighting effects.
