About
Enchanted Books: Re-covered is a resource pack that replaces enchanted-book covers with distinct, vanilla-style designs, making enchantments easier to recognize in chests without relying on item tooltips. The covers use Minecraft-based symbols chosen to suggest an enchantment’s effect and, where possible, its intended use: Respiration features a turtle shell and bubbles, while Soul Speed draws on soul sand. Some books use a justified non-brown cover when it improves recognition, such as an ice-like design for Frost Walker, rather than assigning enchantments arbitrary color codes. Animations are used selectively, including bubbles emerging from the Respiration book, and can be turned off; the pack also offers configurable alternatives such as a different Quick Charge texture and a transparent recipe-book button background. When a book carries multiple enchantments, the native version displays the cover for the enchantment ranked highest in the pack’s hierarchy.
