No Z-Fighting is a resource pack that reduces flickering caused when overlapping block, item, or entity faces compete to render at the same position. It mainly adjusts models, with a few texture changes, to fix examples such as iron bars meeting floors or ceilings, signs placed against blocks or other signs, item frames and pressure plates, fire viewed from a distance, and the book and pages on enchanting tables. Its fixes also cover entity model intersections, including the legs of piglins, pigs, skeletons, and spiders; the bodies and tails of cats and parrots; and parts of pandas, drowned, horses, villagers, chickens, and snow golems. Other addressed cases include boats or minecarts pressed against blocks, shulkers opened beside one another, armor stands holding spyglasses, banners and maps in item frames, and spawners, trial spawners, or vaults beside blocks. Some entity fixes require OptiFine or EMF, and the pack cannot fix every case, including player-model-related issues that are beyond resource-pack limitations.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 2 mob and entity textures (Fish and Zombie) and 26 models.
Adds 8 models. In OptiFine's formats: 54 entity models.
Textures are mostly 48 by 48 pixels, up to 64 by 64.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
