A vanilla-friendly pack that helps your game run smoother.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 72 graded mods, 60 are graded A or B, 7 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 16 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.6. See the mods
Vanilla modpack is a client-side collection for improving the vanilla Minecraft experience while keeping its mechanics largely unchanged, intended for single-player or play on vanilla servers. Its optimization core includes Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling and other performance mods; Nvidium is included for compatible Nvidia graphics cards, while shaders can be selected from the bundled options or added by the player. The pack also adds practical interface and gameplay aids: BetterF3 provides a more readable, customizable debug display, Lighty highlights poorly lit areas where monsters may spawn, and Broken Lead Warner reports when a leash breaks. Inventory helpers include Chest Tracker for remembering item storage locations, Shulker Box Tooltip and Simple Shulker Preview for checking shulker contents, and Mouse Wheelie for smoother inventory handling. Visual and audio additions include connected glass textures, dynamic lights, animated entities, varied footsteps and other sound effects, plus resource packs that enhance grass, nature, enchanted books and potion appearances. Litematica supports creating building schematics for reconstruction, while other conveniences include zoom controls, status-effect bars, armor-trim identification, and a return to the title screen after some crashes.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.6 · Fabric, 23 Jun 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 19 Jun 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 77 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 61 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 61 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
