About
Squareful is a resource pack that gives Minecraft a more distinctly square look, reducing the visual ambiguity of rounded pixel patterns and removing rounded corners from the GUI. It automatically combines textures without requiring mods or OptiFine, including unique textures for almost all double slabs. The pack also adds detailed models for torches and lanterns, special models for some inverted stairs, and distinct models for anvils at three stages of damage. Its redstone displays show wire energy and reveal the orientation and type of droppers, dispensers, hoppers, pistons, and sticky pistons from any side; furnace surfaces indicate whether the furnace is burning, while note blocks display their instrument and pitch.

Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 82 block and item textures are animated.
