Skillet Man is a restaurant-management, tower-defense, and adventure modpack in which you build a food business by day and defend your village by night. You begin in a guided village, choose from five restaurant designs, hire villager staff with gold, and serve customers who request specific dishes prepared through the Cooking Delight system. Delivering meals earns gold, which you can also gain through achievements and successful defenses; spend it on restaurant renovations and upgrades as you grow your business. After two nights, escalating raids put you to work as the Skillet Man, fighting with a Skillet and Spatula to protect the village and earn combat rewards and reputation. Reputation levels unlock challenges, while a custom progression tree replaces vanilla advancements and uses achievements and milestones to unlock mechanics and recipes and guide you toward the endgame. Progression also brings new recipes, Create-based automation, and tougher raids; the ultimate goal is to find the Priest, travel to The End, and defeat the final boss. Custom dialogue and pop-up guidance handle interactions with customers and NPCs instead of vanilla trading and GUIs, and a progression menu provides access to your journey’s milestones. You can draw equipment from specific villagers through a gear gacha system, combine duplicate items into stronger upgrades, and compete in quarterly multiplayer Top Seller rankings; reputation-based prank items and customer sharing or stealing add further player interaction. The world uses flat, open, cave-free terrain suited to building and simulation, and tutorials cover cooking and Create mechanics alongside secret achievements and easter eggs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 19 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 16 May 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 101 of its 104 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of 93 of its 96 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
