    About

    DERCODE is a recode of the Derivative shader that aims to improve graphics and add effects while fixing bugs in the original. Its visual features include custom sky styles with planets, cubic skyboxes, birds and star lines, along with configurable colors for skies, shadows, lighting and fog. Lighting and surface effects include several ambient-occlusion and global-illumination options, specular reflections, PBR, refraction and dispersion, bloom, and colored handheld lights with shadows. Weather and atmosphere options include rain effects, customizable volumetric clouds, Nether fog, fog clouds and sun or moon settings; other effects include glowing mob eyes, damage effects, outlines, and a body-camera-style view. The shader also lists support for Distant Horizons and TACZ, with gallery examples showing compatibility with Oculus.
