Lumina Shader: Event Horizon is a cinematic Minecraft shader pack that enhances lighting, atmosphere, and post-processing, with a distinctive cosmic overhaul of the End. In the End, a world-space black hole is surrounded by an animated accretion disk, a photon ring, and gravitational lensing, while a luminous White Hole counterpart adds configurable energy rays and cinematic flares. The atmosphere combines multi-layered clouds, scattering, fog, auroras, rainbows, and stars with volumetric light shafts, colored lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion, reflections, and support for PBR materials. Cinematic effects include bloom, temporal anti-aliasing, depth of field, color grading, vignette, and lens effects; optional autofocus keeps the viewed subject and foreground sharp while blurring the background, with adjustable blur strength and quality. Rendering profiles range from Potato to Ultra, with further controls for tuning individual effects, and dedicated shader programs support Distant Horizons terrain and water. The pack also adds biome-aware Nether fog, atmospheric storms, glowing lava, and purple-blue portal lighting, with the newer Nether effects available on Windows and Linux.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 34 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English. Has programs for Distant Horizons.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
