A server modpack for breeding horses and raising livestock.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 172 graded mods, 125 are graded A or B, 33 C and 14 D to F. Its last update came out 6 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Canterlands is a server-focused modpack for a public survival community centered on horses, livestock, and farming, built around Star Worm Equestrian Mod (SWEM) and Genetic Animals. Players can build farmsteads, raise livestock, and breed, train, and compete horses, with realistic horse models and a custom interface supporting the equestrian experience. A server-exclusive system registers horses, records their lineage, and assigns breeds, while community activities include livestock shows, horse competitions, and auctions. A starter questline introduces the server and its lore, guides new players toward a property, and offers starting items including a horse spawn egg for a rideable, breedable horse. Players can earn money by growing and processing crops for market sales, or get started through mining and woodcutting.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 18 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 12 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 169 of its 173 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mod files are inside the pack file itself: 2 match a known file (
Memory Leak Fix and
Mods Optimizer), 1 does not (aesthetic-and-performant-1.5.jar).
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 165 of its 169 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 9 of the 129 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
40 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
