    About

    Accelerated Rendering is a client-side mod designed to improve performance when rendering large numbers of entities, including block entities, and complex modded entities with many vertices. It caches untransformed model vertices in meshes and uses GPU compute shaders to transform them in parallel, then draws the result with the original shaders, shifting work away from Minecraft’s single CPU render thread. The mod is designed to work with shader packs and modded entities, currently supports Iris Shaders, and lets players disable acceleration features for compatibility. Acceleration settings can be adjusted in the client configuration file or through the in-game editor; accelerated item rendering requires Force Translucent Acceleration to be enabled. It requires OpenGL 4.6, and mobile devices are not supported.
