A story-driven role-playing adventure with tough fights and bosses.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 216 graded mods, 169 are graded A or B, 37 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 2 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
NightfallCraft: The Casket of Reveries is a souls-like RPG modpack built around a custom story in which you arrive as a savior from beyond, follow the Watcher’s guidance, defeat bosses to recover lost sparks, light an altar, and ultimately challenge a final boss to save the world. The story is delivered through custom dialogue and quests, alongside an immersive tutorial for the souls-like combat system. Combat draws on Epic Fight and add-ons including Epic Fight Nightfall, Weapons of Miracle, and Sword Soaring, with custom bosses designed for Epic Fight. The pack also includes a central hub and a random boss-rush mode with a timer and badges that record the player’s name and completion time.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 17 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 31 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 210 of its 216 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 192 of its 198 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 12 of the 143 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
55 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its description and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs, files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
