Archer’s Paradox expands archery with a configurable collection of specialized arrows for lightly or heavily modded gameplay. Diamond arrows deal double damage and add piercing and knockback, while quartz arrows increase damage and knockback; prismarine arrows travel through water without slowing and are less affected by gravity there. Other arrows bring varied combat effects: blaze arrows burn targets and ignite nearby areas, frost arrows chill targets and freeze an area, lightning arrows call a bolt outdoors, and explosive arrows detonate on impact. Ender arrows teleport the shooter to the impact location or swap them with a target, while shulker arrows home in on targets and inflict levitation. Phantasmal arrows glow, pass through blocks, pierce without limit, and ignore gravity and armor; slime arrows ricochet and deliver substantial knockback. For utility and environmental effects, redstone arrows generate a signal over a large area for ten seconds, glowstone arrows illuminate an area for ten seconds, and disruption arrows create a temporary zone that teleports things away. Spore arrows turn dirt and grass into mycelium nearby, while verdant arrows turn dirt into grass and help grow crops and plants. Training arrows deal no damage and build a Hit Streak for practice, with distance affecting the challenge; Challenge arrows likewise deal no damage but build Archer’s Gambit and award XP for maintaining a hit streak.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 19 items and 15 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
