Better Beds replaces the bed’s block entity renderer with Minecraft’s standard model renderer in a client-side change intended to improve performance and resource-pack support. By default, beds retain vanilla behavior and appearance; resource packs can change their look, with Connected Beds and FancyBeds shown as examples.
