    About

    BetterBlockZ is a decorative building mod that expands on Ztones with modern, industrial, fantasy, and futuristic block sets, including named designs such as Iron Slate, Lave, Synth Alloy, and Eclipse. Its blocks come in standard, X- and Y-rotatable pillar, and fully rotatable forms for diagonal designs; selected variants also support connected textures when Athena is installed. Lighting options include Redstone-switched, full-color Cyber Lights in flat and panel forms, plus patterned Zeon neon blocks that emit light in 16 colors. Players can switch variants while holding a block or use the BlockZ Cycler to change placed blocks in block, line, or area modes, and variants beyond the base form are available through Stonecutter recipes. Building tools include a Checkered Cycler, a Placer that can undo line or area placement, a Pattern Randomizer for designs using two or three variants, a CTM Toggle, a Cobble Crafter, a Block Extender, a Block Replacer, and BlockZ Master, which combines four main tools. Creative-only tools can place a full BetterBlockZ set or build a checkered pattern, and Applied Energistics 2 supports autocrafting the Stonecutter recipes.
