CliffTree is a vanilla-styled Overworld world-generation mod that adds new biomes and gives familiar landscapes a fresh, cohesive look. Its new places range from the dry Shrublands and Oasis to the cold Tundra, Bog, and Glacier Valleys, alongside variations such as Snowy Old Growth Taiga and Sparse Forests. Existing biomes also receive distribution and visual changes, including terracotta bands and greener pasture on Savanna Plateaus, fallen logs in forests, more stone on cliffs, and wider beaches. Rivers and oceans gain biome-specific water colors, deeper ocean terrain, underwater rocks and spires, and smoother gradients of sand, clay, and gravel along riverbeds. Below ground, surface biomes give way to distinct caves, including icy Frozen Caves, terracotta-filled Warm Caves, and the lava- and magma-rich Inferno; rivers can also cut through valleys to form River Caves. The mod also changes vegetation and tree growth: grasses and flowers can grow on sand or snow, Birch and small Jungle trees have revised shapes, and selected conditions allow unusual growth such as Jungle bushes or Swamp Oaks. Other notable additions include Kelp Forests, enhanced Coral Reefs, a Pale Garden with its own take, and biomes such as Granite Shores, Tropical Rivers, and Mushroom Fields with expanded vegetation. Above the clouds, ten sky biomes have darker skies, closer fog, and occasional star particles; their types vary with the landscape below, from Azure Skies over many biomes to Frozen, Jagged, and Stony Summits over matching peaks. The Pale Grotto, found beneath Pale Gardens, is covered in hanging and pale moss, while moss growth and some spreading vegetation respond to their surroundings.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Adds 29 biomes, 4 structures, 1 recipe, 2 advancements and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 169 of vanilla Minecraft's world generation files, 8 other data files, 4 loot tables, 3 tags and 1 advancement.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 4 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 1 point.
