About
Cobblemon Alphas adds rare, naturally spawning Alpha Pokémon to Cobblemon, typically larger than their ordinary counterparts and distinguished by improved IVs, with optional hidden abilities and increased shiny chances. Alpha spawning and individual species definitions are data-driven: datapacks can set species, level ranges, eligible biomes, underground spawning, and linked herd members, and can add or alter Alpha definitions. Certain Alphas can appear with a following group of Cobblemon; herd members keep near their Alpha, flee when it enters battle, and regroup when danger has passed. The mod also includes Plains Alpha Dens and Underground Alpha Dens, each containing a spawner that summons one Alpha before destroying itself. Configurable options include whether Alphas and herds spawn, Alpha size and perfect IV count, and the shiny odds.
