A Cobblemon modpack with multiplayer-focused QOL additions
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 154 graded mods, 121 are graded A or B, 19 C and 14 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Cobblemon Star Academy (Legacy) is a multiplayer-focused Cobblemon modpack that overhauls exploration and progression, with custom gameplay also available for singleplayer. Its world combines William Wythers’ Overhauled Overworld and Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone with more than 100 discoverable builds, including structures from Moog’s Voyager and Soaring Structures, ATI Structures, YUNG’s Structures, TOWT Modded, and Tidal Towns; their revamped loot pools focus on Cobblemon items. At the start of a multiplayer journey, a timed Starter Raffle helps players choose their first Cobblemon while preventing two players from claiming the same starter in a round. Players can earn Numismatic currency through Hunt tasks, village Bountiful boards, chest loot, and registering unique Cobblemon, then spend it at Academy Shops found in villages on items such as Safari Tickets and other supplies. Trainer groups can wager Star Badges in battles and fill a badge belt, while the Academy Shop supports building and strengthening a team of up to six Cobblemon. The timed Safari Realm in the Solara Dimension is a daily catching challenge: visitors have limited time and Safari Balls, and cannot battle, ride, or use other balls there; Safari Tickets from the shop can extend a visit. The pack also includes an Academy resource pack, configurable options for enabled vanilla mobs and Star Badge Belt items, and buildings such as the Academy, shop, healing center, and Safari portal that can be added to worlds as schematics.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 9 Sep 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 8 Mar 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 162 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 157 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 129 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
10 other mods show AI use only from after this release (9 Sep 2025), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
28 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
