About
Colytra lets you attach an elytra to a chestplate, combining flight with the ability to wear chestplate armor. Combine the two items in a crafting grid to create a chestplate whose tooltip indicates that an elytra is attached. In Normal mode, the elytra and chestplate retain their separate enchantments and durability, flight wears down the elytra, and you can separate the items again in a crafting grid; the elytra can also be repaired with Phantom Membrane in an anvil. Unison mode merges the elytra’s enchantments into the chestplate and uses the chestplate’s durability or energy for flight, while Perfect mode works the same way without flight causing durability or energy loss; neither mode allows separation.
