    About

    Copper Age Backport brings the Copper Age’s copper blocks, items, and mechanics to older Minecraft versions, centered on the Copper Golem. Summon a golem by placing a carved pumpkin on a copper block: it can carry items between Copper Chests, randomly press nearby Copper Buttons, and age through four oxidation stages; its oxidation time and transport stack size are configurable. Copper Chests oxidize over time, can be waxed to preserve their state, and support double-chest storage, while Copper Buttons come in eight variants and do not oxidize while pressed. The mod adds four-pose Copper Statues that can be restored to golems and give comparators a signal based on their pose, plus Wooden Shelves in 12 wood variants that display items and provide redstone output. Copper building and redstone additions include torches, lanterns, chains, bars, lightning rods, trapdoors, doors, chiseled copper, grates, and bulbs; these come in weathered or waxed variants where documented, and Copper Bulbs toggle with redstone and grow dimmer as they oxidize. Copper tools and weapons include a pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, and sword, alongside a full copper armor set and copper horse armor. The mod also adds periodic purple-tinted flashes to the End and includes more than 50 custom sounds for entities, blocks, and interactions. It supports integrations including Amendments, Friends and Foes, SophisticatedStorage, IronChests, ConnectibleChains, and Quark, and adds Pale Oak Shelves and recipes when PaleGardenBackport or VanillaBackport is installed.
