Craft-Vania brings weapons, items, and monsters inspired by the Castlevania series into Minecraft. Its arsenal includes an upgradeable range of whips, swords, claymores, throwing swords, blunt weapons, and nunchaku, with distinctive effects such as the Vampire Killer’s bonus damage to undead, the Alucard Sword’s short teleport, and the Mourneblade’s healing attacks. Sub-weapons consume hearts as ammunition and offer varied attacks: daggers and axes pierce foes, holy water creates damaging holy fire, the cross returns like a boomerang, and spells such as Agunea strike multiple enemies while Soul Steal damages nearby mobs and heals its user. Equippable relics add movement and combat abilities, including double jumping, backdashing, resistance to particular effects, reduced sub-weapon cooldowns, and a chance to avoid spending hearts on sub-weapons. The mod also includes healing and status-cleansing supplies, heart-dropping candles and lanterns, crafting materials, and mob drops used to make weapons and relics. Its monsters include axe-throwing Axe Armor, flying shades that fire elemental projectiles, Legion, which spawns a Legion Zombie whenever it takes damage, and Red Skeletons that can return unless their bone piles are destroyed. These creatures spawn in specified vanilla biomes, and werewolves gain attack and defense buffs that vary with the moon’s phase. Additional touches include whip and sub-weapon enchantments, material-based sounds for whip alternate attacks, and peanuts that players toss and catch to restore health and hunger.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 5 blocks, 172 items, 29 mobs, 9 other entities, 2 enchantments, 123 recipes, 141 sounds and 4 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
