    About

    Cursed adds curse enchantments that create drawbacks and unusual situations for survival play, maps, and modpacks. Its curses include Blindness, which sharply limits vision; Echos, which makes helmet wearers hear hallucinated hostile-mob sounds; Radiance, which makes chestplate wearers glow visibly through blocks; and Silence, which stops footwear wearers from making sounds. Curtail reduces a tool’s block-interaction range, Ignorance heavily damages tools when they break the wrong block type, Encumbrance slows weapon attack speed, and Dullness reduces an item’s damage. Fragility makes durable items lose durability faster, Fading makes dropped items despawn sooner, and Ruin prevents an item from being repaired in an anvil. Insomnia prevents helmet wearers from sleeping, Sinking makes the wearer sink quickly in water, Misfortune lowers luck, and Obedience binds an item to its first holder so others cannot use it. Midas turns drops from blocks, mobs, and fishing into gold. Under normal circumstances, the curses are found in loot chests and villager trades rather than through the enchanting table.
