Desert Expansion enriches Minecraft’s Desert and Desert Hills while keeping a vanilla-style feel, adding plants, wildlife, food, and structures to make these biomes more varied to explore. Desert Grass and a smaller cactus variant add ground cover, while desert trees provide shade for Ostriches and oasis trees bear coconuts that can be cracked open and eaten. Wildlife includes aggressive Rattlesnakes and Scorpions, wandering Camels, Ostriches, Desert Tortoises, and rare Golden Eagles; the eagles drop Shiny Golden Keys used to open pyramid sarcophagi. Rare sandstone Pyramids contain Jackal Guardian spawners, loot pots, and a tomb with a Pharaoh boss awakened by unlocking its Sarcophagus with a Golden Eagle’s key. Other discoveries include rare water-filled Desert Oases surrounded by trees and populated by tortoises, large fossil skeletons scattered across the desert, and Desert Farms in Desert Hills with a Farmer Villager, crops, and stabled cows. Desert Farms can offer a place to rest or trade, while their crops may sometimes be broken or already harvested.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.15.2.
Adds 6 blocks, 14 items, 9 mobs, 10 recipes, 7 advancements and 18 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.15.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.15.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
