About
DisenchantingForge adds a Disenchanter block for moving enchantments from enchanted items onto books. Place an enchanted item in the input slot and books in the middle slot; the block transfers the item's first enchantment to a book, removing that enchantment from the item when you collect the result. Shift-clicking the output book attempts to transfer all enchantments, provided you have enough books and experience to cover the cost. Configuration options can make the block require experience, adjust its XP cost, choose a random enchantment, reset the item's anvil work cost, or damage the item during disenchanting.
