    About

    Tax Free Levels makes anvil and enchantment costs depend on the XP required for the stated level cost, rather than charging the increasingly large amount of XP associated with those levels at high player levels. For an anvil cost of X levels, it generally charges the XP needed to reach level X from level 0; an Enchanting Table instead charges the XP for the required levels immediately below its level requirement. By default, the mod also removes the anvil’s “Too Expensive!” limit and makes item renaming cost one level, while preventing the extra XP loss caused by paying levels without reducing fractional progress. It supports integrations with enchanting and item-modification features from mods including Enchanting Overhauled, Enchanting Infuser, Spectrum’s Bedrock Anvil, Apotheosis or Zenith, Tetra’s Workbench, and Quark Oddities’ Matrix Enchanting.
