    Dragon Mounts: Legacy lets players hatch dragon eggs, raise the resulting dragons as pets, and ride them to travel and fly across the world. Eggs can adapt to their surroundings before hatching, with habitats such as snowy blocks, water, biome type, altitude, light level, or dragon breath determining which breed emerges; for example, these conditions can favor Ice, Water, Forest, Nether, Aether, Ghost, or End dragons. Players can tame dragons with fish, watch them grow gradually in size and strength, speed their growth with meat, and restore their health by feeding them meat. The mod also provides a datapack-based system for creating custom breeds without writing code, allowing creators to define traits, attributes, abilities, habitats, eggs, textures, and other breed details.
