Dreamshift is an atmospheric horror mod about slipping out of familiar Minecraft surroundings into surreal, temporary worlds and finding a way back, building unease through displacement, isolation, environmental storytelling, and changed rules rather than relying on a monster that hunts the player every night. Players can enter these Dreamspaces through reality slips and unstable slippages that appear in the world, or through fractured tools that can emerge after heavy use of crafting tables, furnaces, blast furnaces, and smokers. The mod offers more than 20 handcrafted horror environments, ranging from abandoned roads and impossible buildings to frozen skies and broken interiors, with examples including Route 66, Pink Lone House, Dystopic Ruins, and the repeating, fluorescent-lit Temporal Retail Anomaly. Each Dreamspace has its own atmosphere and may have distinct weather, time, sounds, buildings, events, and rules; some are quiet places to explore, while others contain scripted encounters, story events, objectives, and authored return routes. Exploration can lead through connected continuation maps and different outcomes, with recent additions including the story-focused Paragraph Aisle and new routes linking existing Dreamspaces such as Floating Barn House, Mosaic Meters, and The Ungate. Familiar Backrooms is a generated Dreamspace whose Complex remembers broad player activities such as visiting areas, building, and mining, then reconstructs regions imperfectly, leaving gaps and mixed-up details as part of the experience. The Complex can also produce Still Lifes: player-shaped figures that may copy a player's name, skin, and appearance, but can develop corrupted or inaccurate features and behave with unsettling hesitation or unpredictability. Dreamshift also supports adding custom Dreamspace worlds through a dedicated folder, with options for preserving reusable progress and disabling the random return timer in unscripted worlds.

No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
github.com Update checkfilmora.wondershare.com Purpose not knownWe have not read its code yet
The file checks found no code that connects to the internet.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with Dreamshift: their authors or Dreamshift's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Dreamshift, so you only need one.
