A complete horror modpack featuring Verity and much more!
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 371 graded mods, 297 are graded A or B, 68 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out today, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
VerityCraft is a horror-focused Minecraft modpack built around Verity and a selected collection of horror mods, aiming to make exploration tense without relying on constant jumpscares or unfair difficulty. Dense fog and unsettling ambient sounds change the feel of familiar places, while caves, forests, and abandoned structures set the scene for strange creatures, unexplained events, and other unpredictable encounters. Not every encounter is hostile, and suspense comes from the uncertainty of what may be nearby, making expeditions and nights feel risky whether you play alone or with friends. Verity needs to be configured before starting a world for some events, sounds, and mechanics to work as intended.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 22 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 20 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 372 of its 373 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
12 mods send something about you
We read the code of 368 of its 369 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 29 of the 331 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
38 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
