Use shader packs with the game's newer graphics mode.

Vitrail Shaders lets unmodified OptiFine-format shader packs run on Minecraft’s native Vulkan renderer, translating their GLSL when a pack loads rather than during frame rendering. The pack supplies the visual treatment for terrain, moving blocks, water, shadows, sky, clouds, weather, particles, mobs, block entities, the held hand, name plates, and signs; with compatible Distant Horizons support, packs can also shade far terrain. It reads shader-pack menus and supports resource packs’ normal and specular maps, while its render-scale option draws the world at 25 to 100 percent resolution and upscales it before the interface, keeping menus and other interface elements sharp. Named packs shown working with Vitrail include Bliss, BSL, Complementary Reimagined, Complementary Unbound, Euphoria Patches, I Like Vanilla, Lux, Mellow, Photon, Sildur’s Vibrant, Solas, and Spooklementary. Gallery examples include Bliss underwater and around ocean ruins, BSL in lush caves and at a glowstone portal, and Complementary in the End and at short render distance. Vitrail is an early-stage client-side engine for packs, not a pack itself, and its Vulkan backend is experimental; some packs may render incorrectly, with Iris on OpenGL serving as the comparison reference.

Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code, text and assets
The author declares AI code, assets and text on Modrinth.
The author writes that AI was used.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
The author says it uses AI in the game
The author declares AI features on Modrinth.
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with Vitrail Shaders: their authors or Vitrail Shaders' author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Vitrail Shaders, so you only need one.
