    Easy NPC is a system for adding configurable, interactive NPCs to Minecraft worlds, supporting map makers, RPGs, adventure servers, modpacks, and other mods. NPCs can hold conversations ranging from simple text and yes-or-no prompts to branching dialog trees with conditions and button actions, and can offer trades with configurable offers and conditions. Creators can assign actions that run commands, open dialogs or trading, interact with blocks, or update scoreboards, and configure NPC behavior such as following, attacking, targeting, looking, fleeing, or wandering. In-game menus and a configuration wand let users adjust dialogs, trades, skins, actions, equipment, poses, and other settings without editing files; NPCs can also be saved, shared, imported, and exported as presets. NPC appearance is customizable with player-name or URL-based skins, equipment, poses, and alternative models, with integrations for Armourer's Workshop, Cobblemon, Epic Fight, and Immersive Melodies. Additional options include world-level factions that let hostile groups target and fight one another, and abilities such as floating, underwater breathing, leashing, and opening wooden doors. The public API also allows other mods to create NPC types, control NPCs, and reuse the rendering pipeline.
