Factories and fires pollute your world, harming plants, animals, and air.

Ecology Mod adds an environmental pollution system that makes the consequences of technical activity part of Minecraft play. Pollution from sources such as furnaces, fires, explosions, dropped items, and brewing accumulates in chunks and diffuses to neighboring chunks, with air, water, and soil tracked separately. Trees and leaves, as well as plowing grass with a hoe, can reduce pollution, so the landscape also offers ways to counter its buildup. Rising pollution can trigger effects including poisonous smog, contaminated food, illness from sleeping, acid rain, fish and animal extinction, dying or leafless trees, and crop failure. Severe contamination can turn an area into a wasteland, darken its biome colors, prevent some creatures from spawning, and degrade grass, soil, and farmland. Players can use Pollution Filters to reduce emissions from nearby blocks, Advanced Pollution Filters to lower a chunk's pollution, and an Analyzer to inspect pollution levels and active effects. The Respirator protects against smog and other polluted-air effects when supplied with an Air Filter Core.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 sounds: Advanced Filter Working and Analyzer; 8 recipes and 16 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
