About
Overgrown is a long-term survival and exploration modpack set in an endlessly generated ruined city, where nature has reclaimed skyscrapers, highways, streets, and subway tunnels, and wildlife lives among the concrete ruins. Players scavenge abandoned buildings and underground systems for resources, establish a base, and explore for clues about the collapse of humanity while facing the undead. Its extensive custom quest trees guide progression through farming with Mystical Agriculture, Pam’s HarvestCraft, and AgriCraft, then processing crops and raw materials with Mekanism, Forestry, and MineFactory Reloaded. Mining and crafting are also central, with varied ores and tools from Tinkers’ Construct and its addons, alongside technology and storage systems such as Mekanism, Iron Chests, Refined Relocation, pipes, and conveyor belts. Rather than relying on mass storage early on, the pack encourages hands-on inventory and transport systems, and its subway network is a recommended way to travel across the Overworld. The pack’s available content is unfinished, with some bugs and quest lines remaining incomplete.
