About
ElegantNetworking is a framework for making client-server communication easier to implement in Minecraft mods. It uses annotated packet classes for automatic registration, so developers do not need to manage packet channels and IDs for each packet. The framework automatically serializes and deserializes primitives, collections, POJOs, and algebraic data types, while allowing custom serialization when needed. Each packet keeps its transmitted data and receiving handler together in one class, with packet directions represented by client-to-server and server-to-client interfaces. Packets can be sent through simple send methods, including to a server or to all players in a dimension.
